Well the longer this thread gets, the more free publicity it gets. You can pay for a banner-ad on this website, but the postings in the fourm are free...

>Is it really FREE publicity?. I think the guys who advertise here pay something, don't they?
>
>>Maybe he's just trying to get some free publicity. Seems to be working.
>>
>>>I'd like to add my voice to those who have told you that this is the WRONG PLACE for such an "announcement".
>>>
>>>Sure, you can argue that it involves VFP and so is legitimately here. But it is gauche in the extreme to invite people to assist in the killing of their prime computer language.
>>>
>>>It is also highly suspicious to me that anyone who spent $399. for ths "seminar" would come out of it able to recode their VFP applications into .NET. You make it sound like that is the objective, and if that truly is your position then you are also grossly misleading the readers of this advertisement.
>>>
>>>VFP developers who are dabbling (or more) in .NET no doubt also frequent the .NET forum here, and that is the "proper" place for this advertisement.
>>>
>>>Just as Marcus' first advertisement for this service was UNWELCOMED here, so this one is too. Why you thought it should be any different this time is beyond me. Maybe you just like rattling peoples' cages.
