Ok, here is the logic for 2:

The Mayor says that there is 1 wife, who is cheating.

I know her, it's B's wife. (that would be thoughts of a man who has a cheater).

However, B doesn't know about her, so from Mayor's statement it's clear it's his wife. So he is going to kill her tonight. However, would be Mayor so stupid to allude it so directly? He is obviously not, so B should know another wife, who is cheating. Wait a minute, I know one and B knows one. So, it's MY wife is a cheater. Somebody's blood is going to be leacked (? what's the word) tonight and I know, who it would be. Oh, Stella, Stella! (crying).
