Ha! I tried renaming an EXE before zipping it but it still got rejected. Thanks for such a simple workaround. Still a bit of a pain but without the ability to send EXE attachments Gmail would be pretty much useless to me...

I also found that with Outlook Expess running on an old Win98 OS and attempting to send a rejectable attachment caused OE to crash !
