I've being using xBase for about 20 years, since I had to dissasemble dBase II to make it work in a network. I use Fox since FoxBase, and I've being involved in betas since VFP 3.0. Most of the applications the company I worked for the las 16 years where Fox-based, and it was my main mean for a living for most of theat time. Even so, if someone comes to me and presents me a tool that could "potentially" be better, I would surely pay attention, or at least, ignore it, but I can't deny anyone the right to think this is so good of better than VFP. And this is, as I see it, what you're doing respecting to Kevin.

Of course, I'm not questioning you intelligency. I absolutely agree with wht you said about points of view, and what I'm questioning is exactly that. You are invalidating Kein's POV but saing that him trying to teach people how they can convert applications from VFP to other platform is evil, and also, that people could be not smart enought to decide on their own if converting is useful or not.

So, my friend, what I see is that your vision seems to be affected by some passion that it is valid, but I doubt could be required from other people.
