>Many American corporations (and many individuals) have not installed XP SP2. Only about 130,000 corporate desktops have installed SP 2. The rest have turned off the auto-update feature. Why? There may be many reasons: There were issues with application not functioning after the SP 2 update. Others just don't trust MS - there are arguments that SP-2 adds a layer that hides spyware (government and corporate) from the owner of the desktop.
