We sell a verticle market accounting application (don't know if that qualifies as "commercial"). IMO, vertical markets continue to be a good market for VFP upgrades. I imagine there are quite a few companies like us that have developed apps using xBase technology since the 80's and 90's, which now have a ton of features. We want to stay current and continue improving our product, but a complete rewrite using another tool would be very expensive.

In general, our customers don't care what tool we use (they are much more interested in features). Occasionally, I'll get an IT guy that doesn't like FoxPro. Without fail, guys like this think the VFP is a database only, so throwing SQL Server on the back end would satisfy them.
