Hi Ken (and others)

It seems that with every announcement about VFP, there's a prediction of it's demise. That goes back to the day Microsoft acquired Fox from Dr. Dave... It just hasn't happened.

As for .Net, I personally see a very nice complimentary 'fit' for VFP and I continue to find ways to put the two together.

I began making a switch to .Net after the Tech-Ed rollout in New Orleans. However, despite picking up the occasional .Net gig I find myself pretty much full time employed as a VFP contractor.

The current client actually was under the impression that the Fox was dead. As I explained that not only was it not dead, but version 9 was due 1st qtr of 2005 they said to me "You mean it's still a viable, for sale product?" Then when you folks actually delivered it, and I forwarded your press release to the client, they've now got me gearing up for several additional projects here.
