Thanks for that Tom. Whenever I feel depressed I know that I can count on you on a friday to cheer me up ;-)

There are so many things to worry about and so little time to actually really be well informed about it.

So we just have to hope that those in control feel like us and want to live in a peaceful world.

>Atomic annihilation, famine, war, terrorists, etc.

>We worry about the atomic warheads in Russia and other sources of nuclear energy that are not accounted for. A friend of mine was an Inspector for the United States, and had comments about the missing warheads, after spending several years in Russia with the American Inspection Team. Not a nice thought. Not to be outdone we have nuclear material that is not accounted for.

>Now we worry about terrorists. Terrorists come in many shapes and sizes. Some are born and raised in the United States and others are not.

>What is disturbing is that samples of deadly viruses exist and there are few if any controls concerning them. Take the recent incident involving the College of American Pathologists.

>Within the last day or two I have heard several stories concerning this incident. None seem to agree on how many samples were sent, if they were sent and what the status of each sample is. It is frightening to think that we have establishments perhaps all over the world who have the ability to allow viruses to be released withoug controls that are meaningful. These viruses can kill millions of people. The 1957 Asian Flu almost killed my brother and did kill my friend.

>Our government has experimented on our own citizens. Just one case involves the United States Navy in October of 1951. A unique strain of pneumonia was created in the laboratory and released from a ship by the Navy several miles West of San Francisco. The prevailing winds carried the germs into San Francisco. Five people died and it was confirmed by the government that this was due to the Navy’s action. The experiment was considered to be a success. Many such incidents have occurred and will continue to occur.

>Anyway, back to a happy Friday. :)
