>We worry about the atomic warheads in Russia and other sources of nuclear energy that are not accounted for. A friend of mine was an Inspector for the United States, and had comments about the missing warheads, after spending several years in Russia with the American Inspection Team. Not a nice thought. Not to be outdone we have nuclear material that is not accounted for.

I found this news extremely troublesome, too. Very irresponsible behaviour.

>Our government has experimented on our own citizens. ...

rotten.com gives several more examples. One which is not quite proved is a possible atomic bomb experiment, before the ones that are current acknowledged. This was a tremendous explosion in Port Chicago - http://www.rotten.com/library/history/port-chicago/

Another experiment was done by the CIA; unsuspecting people were given dangerous drugs. The experiment, known as MK Ultra, is mentioned at http://www.rotten.com/library/conspiracy/cia/
Difference in opinions hath cost many millions of lives: for instance, whether flesh be bread, or bread be flesh; whether whistling be a vice or a virtue; whether it be better to kiss a post, or throw it into the fire... (from Gulliver's Travels)
