Hello Doyle.

Look at the Desktop and the ShowWindow (=AsTopLevel Form) property of the form, maybe that will help you. this is as of vfp6, don't know whats new in vfp9 for that.

also, if i understand you correct, it would be appropriate to not 'just popup a window' no matter what, but rather have the 'window' flash in the TaskBar, notifying the user that there is 'something' which needs his/her attention.
