In all fairness, once the .NET Framework loads, it should be pretty snappy. Check out the interop web app at http://www.activevfp.com/avfpdemo2/default.aspx and you'll see what I mean. You can even compare it to the same exact app running from ASP. I believe the ASP.NET version is snappier. Now, if I restarted IIS, yes, the initial hit would take a little longer...
