Is the OS Version (and support pack level) the same on both the workstation that prints without errors and the one that does not?
If yes, I would completely delete the printer on the workstation that has the problem, reistall it and force the drivers to be copied over, then verify the driver manufacturer, date, and time against the other workstations that always prints without errors. Do either of these have an lpt port mapped to the printer as well? Is it identical between both workstations?
