I need to clarify my earlier statement before I'm flamed.

--- I DON'T think .Net sucks and I think it does look quite good. I've just got too much work on my hands in VFP and no real sign of it ending anytime soon. Blame AccPac and AccountMate for moving slow!!! Not Me!!!

Greg

>Well just remember how slow it was going from FoxPro 2.6 for Windows over to VFP 3.0... People complained up and down about how much slower VFP 3 was than FoxPro 2.6. Initial attempts to develop in VFP 3 always made me hate the speed but love the tools.

>But who now would want to go back to Foxpro 2.6???

>I'm not moving on to .NET yet for my business development because I think it sucks... From playing around with it and working with the tools it seems to offer some nice things. Problem is I've simply got too much ongoing work and too invested in VFP to jump off the ship at this point.
