PMFJI, That is very difficult and subjective judgement. In the VFP forum there are many very knowledgable people, but they all have their expertise and quality in different areas. Don't force me to choose between Cristof lange, Rick strahl, CetinB, Steven Black and a couple of others. They all have strengths and weaknesses. I never have placed Martin in this line of persons obviously because I did not read much from him before this thread. It now is obvious to me that Martin indeed has a solid ground of conceptual design (though from a personal preference POV, I might not always agree with his standpoint, but hell I know that I've got very strong opinions and to tell you the truth: it never let me down) and knows how this fits into practical development. Therefore I'll credit him. Also don't forget there are some people arround here who don't spend a lot of time up here but do have the same or even better quality in some areas: not all of us could afford to spend much time up here.
