I have somemore goodnews-badnews about VFP6.0, depending on who you are talking to.
Story #1 - Steven Black reports that he has installed VFP6 on the same machine that he has installed VFP5a (His production laptop!) and finds no problems or conflicts.
Story #2 - Chuck Urwiler reports that his copy of VFP 6.0 (an rc1 or release candidate 1 copy) didn't appear to break VFP5 BUT the Microsoft Foundation class control, MFC4ctl32, if I remember correctly, was replaced by a newer version and as a result Chuck reports that OTHER windows programs, like Street Atlas 5.0, won't run. He reported this problem to Delorame.
What to do? I plan to install VFP6 on my NT side (I dual boot) where it won't disturb my other windows apps.
