Due to the recent completion of a consultancy gig, I have about 12-14 hours per week of consultancy/development time available.

In recent times, I have been doing a considerable amount of Codemine development with SQL server. That has become a little more specialised due to the fact that a 300+ user site I have been working at restricted data access solely to SQL server stored procedures. All CRUD functions are implemented by stored procedures that are called by numerous client technologies including .NET, PHP, Access, VB and Codemine/Visual Foxpro. Therefore, the Codemine application had to play nicely in the sand pit!

To this end, I developed a new Codemine data access class for “Stored Procedures”. Such a class is not available in the standard Codemine framework. I'm happy to report that the class works like a charm and Codemine slotted straight into a development methodology that was based on an Object Relational Mapping (ORM) framework utilizing the Domain Entity approach.

I have also recently done some SQL server scripting and ASP.Net (C#) work for a project in which Soft Classics, the vendors of Codemine have been involved.

Finally, I have also been helping to develop a C#/.Net framework that is based largely on Martin Fowler's Domain Entity Model approach. However, this framework uses stored procedures as its primary data access method.

So, I am open to anything involving Codemine - regular VFP, SQL server, SQL server stored procedure development (T-SQL) and .Net too. If anyone wishes to discuss any opportunity further, please e-mail me privately.
