>>I just finished Steven Black's session on the new Browser in VFP 6.0. I have one word for that browser - WOW! Steven says that he now lives (and develops) in the browser and after seeing his demo I am believe that I will be doing the same. Visit
www.stevenblack.com and see if you can download the latest info on the browser AND download a program he is developing called SHARE which allows you to select a class and export it to another (or new) class (for giving to a colleague). It will automatically walk up the inheritance chain and export all the necessary parent objects also. Steve hasn't figure out what to do with the icons or bmps that may be bound to the exported class and for the present he recommends zipping them.

>A neat feature that I forgot to mention was that you can use the VFP6 browser to browse almost any object on your drive - exe's, ocx's, etc, besides the usual VFP suspects! In the right pane of the browser the public methods and properties (and their names) become visible. While on an object pressing the space bar brings up the hlp file for that object!
You can browse type libraries, dlls, exes, and ocx in the VFP5 class browser, so I'm not sure if there is a difference between the two versions. Frankly, for non-VFP files, VB's object browser is far superior. With VFP5, you don't see parameters for methods or even what type of value should be passed (character, numeric, etc.) These things are needed in a class browser to work in the COM world without lots of trial and error.
