Antonio,

>I am attempting to run the C# sample application that came with the framework (v. 1.3) and I am getting a number of errors. I am a little baffled since some errors mention non-existent properties but .NET's Intellisense CAN find them. For example, one error reads:
>
>"C:\Program Files\Mere Mortals .NET Framework 2003\Samples\MM Northwind Sample Application_CSharp\UserLoginForm.cs(107): The type 'OakLeaf.MM.Main.Windows.Forms.mmPictureBox' has no property named 'ToolTipText'.

Did you have an older version of MM .NET on your computer? It sounds like .NET is having a hard time finding the correct assembly. Are you running Windows 2000? I've seen problems where Windows 2000 doesn't properly uninstall .NET assemblies via Add/Remove programs.

As a first try, you may want to go to Add/Remove programs and see if there are two versions of MM .NET listed. In either case, I would remove all versions listed, then try to reinstall.

If this doesn't work, the only way I know to fix the problem is to go to a DOS window, navigate to c:\WINNT\Assembly\GAC and manually delete the MM .NET folders.
