I used MSSOAPT to check all of the SOAP messages and all look OK. The two calls from the client are obviously identical apart from the different text and MSSOAP sends both. It just seems to choke on the incoming XML when there's an exception.

Tried this from a couple of different client machines with the same result so I doubt it's the installation. Any chance you can run the same code on your systems for comparison ..?
