Unfortunately, sales of the VFP 7 book were extremely slow, and we can't just the time it would take to revise it.
Just to give you an idea, when Ted and I wrote the original book for VFP 3, we worked on it for 14 months more or less half-time each. The VFP 6 book was 9 months. For VFP 7, we brought on two more authors and make some strategic decisions about what to revise and what to leave as is, and it was still a many month (read: I don't remember how many <g>) project.
The problem is that not only would we have to write about all the new stuff, but we'd need to revisit an awful lot of the existing sections to check for changes, recheck bugs, etc. To justify that time, we'd need to know that we'd sell several thousand, at least.
