Hi Tom
I tried out "your" FoxCrypto.fll routine for encrypting data and your sample "Test" worked fine in a button on a form.
However, when I went to close the system I got the following error:
Error# 1. "File 'cmregsetinteger.prg' does not exist. (from RemoveToolBar line 19)

Am using VFP 7.1, WindowsXP, and CodeMine 7.1.
All help appreciated.
