As I said, I think I heard there is some Windows emulation. But I don't know how good it works.
On the other hand, if you want to program for multiple platforms, well, that is precisely one of the weak points of Visual FoxPro, and you may want to consider other programming languages.
I don't know about ActiveDocument; but I would not rely on Internet Explorer for multiplatform; there are lots of security problems, so I prefer not to use Internet Explorer at all. But apart from that, I think that the latest versions of Internet Explorer are not made available for many alternative platforms, and especially not for Linux.
