I'm also kind of still shaking my head about the fact that the beta is for attendees only. Seems to me that it's in everyone's best interest to get the experienced developers up to speed now with the new features, especially the COM and Web stuff,rather than have us wait another 4 months.

Bugs and all, I'd download it today just to start looking into the FFC's and get as much out of it as I could.

I've participated to the MSDN chat a few hours ago, and the answer has been something like "we won't post the beta on MS site because we've already given it to 1600 attendees. The only way to get the beta was to attend the DevCon, but now it's too late...". Astonishing, uh ? Seems they've forgotten that there are other developers on this planet.
