Malcolm,
I don't have an answer why it works w/o ZoneAlarm. It might be a coincidence hiding some other problem. I'd backup the form, remove the combo/listboxes and retry first. Combo and listboxes keep their sources through handles and sounds like on return handles are lost.
Alternative try would be using private datasession and/or changing combo/listbox rowsources to something that's not cursor based (alias,field,sql etc).
