I'm seeing the same thing as you are using VFP 8 SP1 and VFP 9 on XP SP 2. I have a generic screen driver running at 768 x 1024. Nothing fancy other than having themes enabled which is VFP's default behavior.

On my system the bleeding (bolding) goes away once a user moves off a checkbox control So far, I've only seen this problem with checkboxes.
