Hi.
I am currenlty insalling a POS app in a chain of chinese Point of Sale food outlets
Ideally, they would like the receipt printer to print the food product description in English, and also in Chinese

The Chinese guy has said to me that he came across software somewhere that does the following:

1. Say you have a product description of 'Lettuce'
2. Say , in chinese, this 'sounds' like 'MANA'
3. The operator types in 'MANA' and this is translated to the Chinese characters for what sounds like 'Lettuce' in Chinese
4. This description can then be stored in a second description filed and printed in chinese

Has anybody come across anything like this or any other suggestions would be apprciated.
