>Hi Terry. Did you ever get this issue resolved? I am having the same problem. It seems that all of my labels with transparent backgrounds will go to a "fuzzy bold" when you start clicking around on a form with a page frame.

I wish I had - I fooled around with some "theme" issues. I even found a white paper on MSDN but as I remember, I could not figure out how to use the info. My "bleeding" occurs on froms without pages. It seems to be more prevalent when CheckBoxes (they hightlight when the mouse pointer passes by) and activeX controls are on the form.

I can't give up my "transparent" backgrounds! I don't know if it's an XP issue or a VFP issue. Some of my sites are still 98 or 2000. I can't recall it happening at those locations. I was bad in VFP 7 - it seams somewhat better in VFP 8.

Everyonce in a while I try to chop a hack - I may have done something, because It does not seem as prevalent - or - my recent projects do not present as high a density of form controls as those when it was irritatingly obvious.
