Malcolm,

I wouldn't rely on grid thumb because most of the time VFP doesn't place it correctly anyway. Is additional info a current row related?

Non-themed scrollbar regions are filled with a checkboard pattern whose gray color is also used in the thumb itself. I suspect there's a simple way to handle this, but I think I'm too close to the problem to see the elegant solution.
