Most use the same code for the same manufacturer. In this case, it is not the same between manufacturers. Epson LQ 2500 and the Epson LX-810, for instance, uses DEC 10, HEX 0A for a forward line feed. Most epsons all use the same excape codes. Not sure if that is the case with NEC printers...
