>Ah Sergey - I've just looked at an on-line map of the world and it would seem that Europe ends at a line going south from the eastern border of Finland, and Ukraine is just indside. It's further West than I'd expected. I still wonder where the crack is though :-)

In the south Europe is seprated from Africa and Asia by Mediterranean See and Black See. On the East Ural Mointain in Russia is a border.
