Dear Fox maniacs

I have a report, being a bus timetable, part of the layout of the detail band as below:
___________________________________________________________________
| Zone_Stop______________ |Time1_ | Time2_ | Time3_ | ...etc.
|__________________________|_______|________|________|_____________
| Zone_Stop______________ |Time1_ | Time2_ | Time3_ | ...etc.
|__________________________|_______|________|________|_____________
.
.
.
etc.
The above horz. and the vert. lines represent those lines on the rpt (boxing in the stop names and times).
The Zone_Stop field may be bigger than the space allotted it. Its format is "stretch with overflow" and "fix rel. to top of band".
The TimeX fields are static 4-char fields - "Fix rel. to top of band" - no stretch
All the vert. lines are, accordingly, "stretch rel to height of band", "fix rel. to top of band"
The horz. line below each Stop- times row is "fix rel. to bottom of band" (although I have tried it with "float")

Problem is the Zone_Stop field won't stretch to another line and so truncates, so we get text like:

"Ipswich: Old farm Rd, opp." instead of "Ipswich: Old farm Rd, opp. Black Lion Pub" for example, which is not very helpful. I have assured, in debug, that the print table field is indeed getting filled with the full stop sdescription and is big enough to hold it (60 chars).

Any ideas?

'ppreciate it
