Hello Everybody,

We have an application that uses an Access Database that was created with an old version of Access, I am not sure what version!

The problem that we are having is, the access database becomes unstable after so many records have been inserted into it causing the application to crash.

So what options do I have at this point?

Can I easily convert the old Access database to Access 2000 format so that it can support more records?

Can I use The latest version of Jet (I think it is Jet 4.0) to access the old Access database?

I thought about using MSDE, but I do not have any plans on scaling the database to SQL Server!

Oh, by the way, Microsoft SQL Server is not an option for me!
