Title:
GIF doesn't print correctly

Hi,
I have a form to which I have added a logo in GIF format.
I produce a report from the report that also uses the same GIF file.
All looks fine in the report preview. When I print from the preview the picture file's characteristics change. The image becomes much larger and moves from its original position on the report.
I also have tried to print the report from outside the form from the command line with the same results...looks good in preview, doesn't print correctly. I have tried all the combinations of setting the pictures properties within the report without success.
Ironically, I have made a copy of the GIF and saved it under a different name. Adding this copy to the report then previewing and printing, both through the form and independently from the command line produces the desired results. That is, the picture stays where I placed it and is sized correctly.
I have also removed any printer specific values from the FRX, but still cannot get the first GIF image to behave.
Could it be that the picture file from the form has had some effect on how it prints on the report? I don't believe that it should.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Vince
