DNN require to be created DNN DB in the SQLServer and in web.config after unzipping of the code to change DBname UserID and Password.
Also there is need to give them access rights to your folders.
After that compilation of the project and installation runs smoothly.

No there is nothing unique. But this is good backbone for .Net developers to create very fast firm portal.

I think that may be you are right about ActiveVFP, but it could be used from VFP developers only.
