>The FoxPro team members are working on some things that will help bring VFP and VS/.NET technologies closer together. I can't be more specific at this time, and I can't define why people are motivated to do things beyond that it is their job.
Should I rejoice from what you just said?
Many ways to interpret it.
1) VS.Net will get many of the data-centric capabilities of VFP but nothing will change on the VFP side. So this means that we (VFP community) won't gain much from this.
2) There will be tools or ways to make VFP apps work very well with .Net apps. Perhaps this is kinda already possible but I don't develop with .Net so I don't know. Wnyway you get the idea.
So is this good news for the VFP community?
When do you think you'll be able to tell more about it?
Same time-frame as for announcing VFP 10 or whatever will come next?
