I'm no guru, but when I did (I moved to a wide-screen laptop now) I used to have all the supporting stuff (debugger, Command, toolbox, etc) in the second one, and the code/application in front of me... most of the time. You can move things around whenever you want, so I guess you'll finish doing the things you way.

For me, the wide-screen works better than the two monitors, and also, going around with the laptop AND another monitor would be messy. 8-P
