The problem seems solved!!!
Looking for the Ram size (yes, 64MB), I found the Tab
Risoluzione Problemi (Problem Resolutions in english?)
Then, Accelerazione hardware (hardware acceleration in english?)
which was set to Max (slider)
I drag a step lower, than OK.

Now it's ok on (my) Asus laptop.
Next week I'll try the same on the (client) Acer laptop.
