To summarize, yes you do have to have IE4 installed to run VFP6 help. A new feature is the Programmer's Guide is now in on-line help. The new standard for MS help is HTML Help which is what VFP 6 is in.

The note on the Programmer's Guide came from DevCon. I have yet to explore how extensive it is. But if it is complete, this is a greater benefit over the printed guide.
