You could check to see if there is a pageframe on a form. If there is, you could successively check the activepage of the pageframe and then the activecontrol on the activepage. In essence, you would be programmatically drilling down to the object you are looking for. I know, it probably qualifies as a kludge, but it might work. Good luck.
