BTW - To stop some of this craziness, I've just hardcoded the version # in my assemblies. At least now I don't have to worry about accidentally bumping the version # when I do a recompile. However, now I just need to be careful that VS.NET has the current version of the DLL in the folder and isn't using the old one (or even worse, copying the old one on top of my new one in my current projects).
