Our company has about 100 computers distributed throughout North America. They run automated routines 24/7, with no human intervention except maintenence. We've been using Symantec Antivirus, but that's getting expensive. While Symantec has good prices for 100 systems in one location, but they have NO group pricing for distributed systems like ours. That means we have to pay full retain for renewals, and that's too pricey for us.
Our systems don't run email or much of anything else except our FoxPro app connecting to Oracle or SQL. We are at most a "limited risk" installation. Still, we want to be responsible to our customers and offer basic virus protection on these systems.
So does anyone know of another antivirus that is either freeware or has affordable distributed licensing?
Thanks,
