Excuse me for butting in, and ignore me if totally off the issue, BUT why not in the print setup include something like print if _pageno > 1, and then use a variable that would total up the pages as each is created and then print out as the 'fake' page no. Thus if you suppress page1, you could then print the next page as 2 or as 1 and then incrementally the next number. If the report resets to 1 it wouldn't matter, the variable would just increment. Just a thought.
