Hi Dean,

if you delete or destroy your client's data, you are in trouble, because the data is your clients property, without any doubt. In stead of destroying the data, I suggest you convert his data into some other format, like XML or CSV, becuase then his data is intact, and can be recovered. If he wants his data in another, more practical for him, format, then you can charge him for that job, without any fear of being sued.
