I read your post to say "we may lose the ballots, but we win the country". so I replied "I hope so." To reply to what you actual posted, I would say the American people lost "Ohio", but it was not in the counting, it was in the dirty tricks in Districts heavily populated with Democrats, where the Democratic voters were made to stand endlessly in lines; because, there were far to few voting machine, and because Democratic voters were challenge as to whether they were valid voters and made to product drivers licenses with photos of themselves. This allowed JWB to win a little over 50% of the popular vote, and enough electoral votes to win the Presidency. It is wrong that some voters were made to feel threatened and like criminals when they exercise their right to vote. Anyway, the election was close, but President Bush is President.
