I am running VFP6 with sp5 (have just uninstalled and reinstalled both)

I set up in ODBC an Access driver for an mdb database and then go into VFP and try to create a remote view - it just hangs bringing up the fields in the wizard - will evetually get there and create it - but when I try to access the remote view the system just hangs

But if I copy the data directory to another machine and go through the same steps it works fine

What could be the problem? firewall is off
