Hi everyone:

I have a VFP 8.0 project within which I have a number of programs tailored to one feature. Now, I want to add a different feature to the same project, but I didn't name the original programs in a way to distinguish them from any new programs that I will be creating. I was wondering if there is any way to categorize the programs in a project so that I can look at one type at a time. As an example of what I'm trying to do:

The project has programs that goes through a text file, searches for specific data, and creates a word document based on that data. Some programs were named p_rom*.prg, although some of them were named rom*.prg or something to that affect (naming conventions have never been my strong point and had they been I wouldn't be writing asking for suggestions now!). Now, I'm doing the similar thing with a different text file that will require re-writing and adding a number of different programs. I would like to distinguish these programs from the previous ones so that when I'm working on them, all I see is the new programs.

These new programs will still need to be compiled into the same application, which will be menu driven to distinguish between the different functions.

Is there a way to do this? Can I simply start a new progect and somehow compile that in with the previous project?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Paul
