Nadya,
Any date/datetime value prior to and including the 16th century is subject to question. The answer you received from Fabio is overly long. I have a date text box class that allows the user to enter a two digit year, but displays the year as four digits. If you wish to restrict your users to entering a proper value, then I suggest that you do the same.
>>I know you've already gotten your answer, but the best way to do this is something like this in the Valid clause
RETURN (YEAR(This.Value) >= 2000)
You'll have to modify the year.
