I think you can do this, but the way to find out for sure is to experiment interactively in Word to see if it's possible. If it is, I think you'll be doing something like setting the width for that column. (As I recall, there are two properties involved--one that says how you're setting the width and the other that actually sets it.) Then, I think you can apply AutoFit only to the other columns.
