Hi Randy,

I put this in the group. Then I setup all the varibles in code before launching the report.
   iif(plUseGroup,eval(pcGroup),1)
>We are designing a report for which the user can select the grouping choice at runtime. From their choice we will set variables and use dynamic group expressions similarly to the technique in Cathy Pountney's book.
