Depends on what you mean by conflicts. Several ActiveX controls are being updated. If you use that particluar control, it is possible that the beta version of the control will not behave as expected. Also, make sure that you install VFP6 is a different directory than VFP5.
On another note, it is against the law for someone to allow you to "borrow" their beta copy.
